UPDATED for 2020, the Briksdal family of boots has replaced the old option lace loop around the ankle with a standard lace lock, and extended the leather and added extra padding to the tongue for a much more comfortable feel.

The Briksdal GTX is a powerhouse! This boot is packed full of features you're going to love but first and foremost, the Briksdal GTX is one of the stiffest Crispi models, coming in at a Flex Rating of 4. They also use an asymmetrical lacing system allows the user to customize their lacing to better navigate technical terrain which results in a more true custom anatomical fit. With the added comfort of the Crispi ABSS system and a stretch nylon material built on the tongue of the boot, your feet are sure to stay protected and comfortable during your trips.

This mountaineering boot is extremely lightweight and is constructed with the highest-quality Nubuk leather on the market. As with all of Crispi’s boots, the Briksdal is 100% waterproof thanks to the Gore-Tex bootie making this a must have for anyone hunting in extreme terrain.

3 months ago I've had my Crispi Briksdals now for 3 seasons and they are the most comfortable boot I've owned. Perfect for year round use and technical terrain.

6 months ago Crispi Briksdal GTX is a comfortable lightweight boot with a good tread pattern and rockered toe which makes for easy walking. Waterproof and has a well thought out rand which wraps up over the top of the boot so as not to be snagged on rocks and such, something that happens with many other brands causing the rand to seperate from the boot over time. Basic insoles and generic laces get it a 4 out of 5, but both of which I easily replaced with sport insoles and a high quality lace set. Overall an excellent hiking and hunting boot.

9 months ago Hey can I submit a photo? Got a great close up of the one boot (with the Crispi tag on the lace) while wading through the Nith River in February. Feet stayed dry, warm and stuck to the cobbles. Excellent boots and I will now spend this kind of money for this kind of quality. They are stiff and maybe have a slight tendency to have an ankle turn because of the narrow sole. The ankle support is still good though and have protected my ankles when needed. Size 41 for my size 8 foot fit perfectly with one pair of socks. I would get a half size bigger if I wanted to wear two pairs of socks. Buying more Crispi products for sure.

CRISPI stands behind every boot we build.  CRISPI warranties, to the original owner, our boots to be free from manufacturing defects and poor workmanship for 1 year after the original purchase date AND the soles are still 25% intact.  If any of our boots fail in the first year we will repair or replace the boots.  Said warranty does not include damage from normal wear and tear, abuse, improper care, alterations, accidents, negligence, modifications, or if your CRISPI boots are used other than in the manner intended. Inadequate fit or discomfort unique to fit is not covered by this warranty.

CRISPI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential losses or damages or personal injury in connection with the use of CRISPI boots. Some states do now allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.

To best serve our customers, CRISPI reserves the right to handle all warranties.  Do not take your boots to the authorized Crispi dealer where you purchased the boots or to any other re-seller.
