Lightweight and breathable, this softshell pant will keep you cool and dry for those hot days charging in the mountains. Advanced 4-way stretch synthetic blend moves with the hunter and stands up to heavy abrasion in the scrub and scree. Mesh-backed pockets deliver extra ventilation and an internal mesh knee pad pocket provides added protection when field dressing an animal.

6 months ago These Ascent pants are my go to hunting pant for all but the coldest temperatures. Super light and comfortable and easy to add merino base layers of various thickness to compensate for temperature changes. The pants have a very tight weave which makes them resistant to snagging and I'm just finishing up my third season hunting in them with little sign of wear.

9 months ago Great for early season, or ok later into the season with a merino base layer. Word from the wise. LOL. They don't do well against a hot woodstove.

9 months ago Bought these Ascent pants in Pyrite for early season hunting, and liked them so much I ended up using them well into the fall with Sitka merino base layers underneath. They're a very light yet tough material, and cool and comfortable in warmer temps. Four way stretch means way less energy expended over rough terrain, so more energy left over for the task at hand!

WARRANTIES & REPAIRS

While SITKA Gear is built to be tough, it is not invincible...

Your garment will be put to the test, encountering tree limbs, barbed wire, rocks, and other conditions that may harm or damage the gear. We will try to repair damage caused by normal wear and tear or accidents, such as rips or punctures, at a reasonable cost. We will only begin the repair after you have approved the cost.

If the damage is deemed to be caused by a defect in manufacturing, we will, at our discretion, repair or replace the item at no cost to you. All warranties receive a pre-paid shipping label from FedEx within 5 to 7 business days unless located in Canada. All garments sent in for Warranty or Repair must be clean.

Unwashed garments will be returned to you without a resolution of your claim. Please be sure to empty all pockets of ammunition, liquids, sharp objects, personal effects, etc.

Depending on the time of year, damage ,and amount and/or type of work required, our repair process can take an average of 4 to 8 weeks.
