This softshell pant is the go-to for those tough mid-to-late season conditions in the backcountry. Constructed with ultra-durable 4-way stretch polyester with double reinforced ripstop nylon knees and seat are both waterproof and breathable. Removable articulated knee pads ensure durability and comfort whether you’re scrambling in the talus of the Rockies, stalking the cacti of the Mojave or field dressing an animal.

  • GORE™ OPTIFADE™ Concealment Subalpine is designed for stalking and ambushing ungulates from ground level in tree-covered and vegetated terrain.

  • GORE™ OPTIFADE™ Concealment Open Country is scientifically optimized for engagement ranges of 50 yards and beyond at ground level in rocky terrain above the timber line.

  • Durable Water Repellent finish resists light precipitation and prevents the face fabric from wetting out.

  • Reinforced Seat and Knees: The seat and knees are reinforced with a waterproof nylon ripstop fabric, so a long slog on a wet saddle or a quick seat in the snow won’t leave you cold and wet.

  • Removable Knee Pads: Removable knee pads offer additional protection whether you’re scrambling through talus in the Northern Rockies, picking your way through cactus in the Sonoran Desert, or field dressing an animal.

9 months ago Bought these pants along with my Jetstream jacket and they made for a good combo. I really liked the knee pads and the water proof seat was game changing! I only wish it had some ventilation zippers.

WARRANTIES & REPAIRS

While SITKA Gear is built to be tough, it is not invincible...

Your garment will be put to the test, encountering tree limbs, barbed wire, rocks, and other conditions that may harm or damage the gear. We will try to repair damage caused by normal wear and tear or accidents, such as rips or punctures, at a reasonable cost. We will only begin the repair after you have approved the cost.

If the damage is deemed to be caused by a defect in manufacturing, we will, at our discretion, repair or replace the item at no cost to you. All warranties receive a pre-paid shipping label from FedEx within 5 to 7 business days unless located in Canada. All garments sent in for Warranty or Repair must be clean.

Unwashed garments will be returned to you without a resolution of your claim. Please be sure to empty all pockets of ammunition, liquids, sharp objects, personal effects, etc.

Depending on the time of year, damage ,and amount and/or type of work required, our repair process can take an average of 4 to 8 weeks.
